James Barham
About James
A founder of PCI Pal, James was instrumental in establishing and leading the business’ sales, marketing, and operations functions prior to relocating to the US to set up the company’s North American operation. In October 2018, James took up the position of group CEO. He has overseen the company through a number of highly successful funding rounds and has been influential in the evolution of the PCI Pal product suite following a career spent entirely in B2B software.

Mufti Monim
About Mufti
Mufti joined PCI Pal from Deko, where he was CTO leading the product and engineering teams. As a proven technologist, Mufti uses his expertise and experience across cloud and payments technology to further advance PCI Pal’s goal to be the preferred solution provider that organizations turn to globally for achieving payment security within customer engagement environments. As well as spearheading technology strategy, Mufti leads the product team at PCI Pal in the identification and development of new product enhancements and features.

Darren Gill
About Darren
Darren joined PCI Pal from Genesys. Leveraging his in-depth understanding of the contact center market, Darren is responsible for sales strategy and execution globally. Having worked in sales within the technology sector for over 25 years, Darren brings significant experience to the business.

Ryan Murray
About Ryan
Ryan joined PCI Pal on 14 October 2024 as Chief Financial Officer. As a Chartered Accountant, Ryan was with AIM listed FD Technologies Plc in roles which included Head of Corporate Finance, Chief Financial Officer of KX (FD Technologies software division), and Group Financial Controller. He spent the early part of his career with EY in both audit and corporate tax.

Royston Ballard
About Royston
With 20 years in cyber security and over a decade in senior leadership, Royston leads PCI Pal’s global information security and regulatory compliance. He oversees everything from legal compliance and IT risk analysis to incident response planning and business continuity management. Across sectors from Finance to Media, he’s delivered global security programs, driven digital transformation, and fostered a culture of cyber awareness. Royston’s mission: safeguard strategy, brand, and operations while enabling agility, productivity, and collaboration.

Rachael Drouet
About Rachael
As Head of People and Development, Rachael is responsible for ensuring PCI Pal creates an environment within which its people can develop, learn, and succeed in their career goals. Rachael joined PCI Pal in 2018 and has over 20 years’ experience in HR, training, and recruitment gained predominately at B2B software companies.
Rachael believes people will give their best if they enjoy what they do and is proud of PCI Pal’s award-winning record in creating an organization that people want to be a part of.

Adrienne Brophy
About Adrienne
Adrienne joined PCI Pal from Sky UK Limited where she supported the successful launch of Sky Connect, Sky’s B2B communications business, after several years providing legal support to the procurement and revenue-producing sides of the business. Adrienne is an experienced commercial lawyer with particular expertise in technology and IP transactions, including a broad range of cloud contracts (SaaS, PaaS, IaaS). Apart from transactional work, Adrienne is passionate about legal technology and how it can be leveraged to enhance the efficiency and efficacy of legal teams.

About Simon
Simon’s background includes thirty-five years in international business to business software. He has been a resident of the United States for 30 years. Past executive positions include CEO, CFO and corporate development roles, as well as independent board directorships and advisory roles in a range of US and UK companies, including Surf Control plc, Endace plc, M86 Security, Hazelcast and Uberflip.

Carolyn Rand
About Carolyn
Carolyn has over 25 years of experience across public and private enterprises. Her current responsibilities include Non-Executive Director and Audit Committee Chair for AIM-quoted global technology business IQGeo plc, Cambridge Nutritional Sciences plc, Governor and Finance Committee Member of the College of West Anglia. She is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants. Previous positions include: CFO of Bango plc, CFO Zinwave, CEO of Isogenica.

Andrew Lockwood
About Andrew
Andrew has over 30 years’ experience leading, growing, and transforming technology, telecoms, and healthcare businesses. He has held senior roles at BT, Capita, and Daisy Communications, and worked extensively in the US with Inktomi Corp and Covad Communications. Formerly CEO of KFM, he is currently a Non-Executive Director and Chair of the Remuneration Committee at Synectics plc, an AIM-listed provider of advanced security and surveillance software.
