Voice Payments

Voice payments are transactions initiated and authorized through spoken commands using voice recognition technology and voice-activated assistants like Amazon Alexa, Google Assistant, or Siri. Customers can make purchases, pay bills, or send money by simply speaking requests such as “order groceries” or “pay my electricity bill,” with the voice assistant accessing stored payment credentials to complete the transaction. Voice payment systems use voice biometrics and multi-factor authentication to verify user identity and prevent fraud. This emerging payment channel offers hands-free convenience, particularly useful while driving, cooking, or multitasking, and represents the evolution of payment experiences toward more natural, conversational interactions with technology.
