Attestation of Compliance

Attestation of Compliance (AOC) is an official document that validates an organization has completed its PCI DSS compliance assessment and met all applicable security requirements for protecting cardholder data. This formal declaration, signed by an authorised representative or Qualified Security Assessor, confirms successful implementation of required security controls. Businesses must submit an updated attestation annually, with failure to provide valid documentation potentially resulting in increased transaction fees or loss of processing privileges.
