PCI SSC

PCI SSC (Payment Card Industry Security Standards Council) is the global organization responsible for developing, managing, and promoting the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard and other security standards that protect payment card data. Founded in 2006 by major credit card brands, the council requirements for securing payment transactions, certifies service providers, and provides training programmes for security professionals.
