James founded PCI Pal as an incubated start-up within its former parent group, having identified the opportunity to build a specialist business focused on secure payments for customer communications.

He went on to establish and lead PCI Pal’s sales, marketing and operations functions before relocating to the US to launch the company’s North American business.

In October 2018, James was appointed CEO of the Group, PCI-PAL plc. Since then, he has led the company through a period of significant international growth, overseeing its expansion across key markets, building a market-leading partner ecosystem, and leading a number of highly successful funding rounds.

James has spent his entire career in B2B software and services, with particular experience across the business communications and customer experience (CX) markets.
