PCI Pal® Shortlisted for Retail Security Initiative of the Year at the Retail Systems Awards 2018

PCI Pal®, the secure payment solutions provider for contact centres, has been announced as a finalist in the 2018 Retail Systems Awards, for its ‘Retail Security Initiative of the Year’ category. The shortlisting is based on the use of its Agent Assist solution by the fashion retailer AllSaints.

PCI Pal’s cloud-based Agent Assist solution has been nominated for its role in enabling the retailer to take card payments securely over the phone, using DTMF-capture technology, while the agent and customer remain in conversation. As well as enhancing the overall customer experience, it improves payment card security, reduces average call handling times and supports AllSaints with its PCI DSS compliance.

Since implementing Agent Assist, AllSaints has seen a two-third reduction in how long it takes to process phone sales, meaning more calls can be handled.  It also means that cardholder data and related personal details are secure as the data does not enter AllSaints’ contact centre environment, ensuring the retailer is PCI DSS compliant.

Jane Goodayle, Marketing Director at PCI Pal said: “To be shortlisted by the Retail Systems Awards 2018 is a great achievement – we are actively working with many retailers to support their PCI compliance requirements. AllSaints is one great example of how our cloud-based technology not only ensures PCI DSS compliance but delivers quantifiable time and efficiency savings for the contact centre. We look forward to the winners being revealed in June.”
