PCI Pal attended the UK’s premier payment risk and security summit in London last week.
The Park Plaza hotel played host to PCI Portal, the largest gathering of professionals tasked with securing payment systems, protecting cardholder data and adhering to PCI DSS requirements.
The 10th PCI London saw an exciting line up of speakers, kicking off with Christopher Danvers of American Airlines Credit Union who delivered an insightful talk on Apple Pay, NFC and the subsequent security and compliance considerations.
A mid-morning panel session followed on sharing the burden of PCI risks, hosted by Erica Constance of Paragon International Insurance Brokers, Augusto Perez Arbizu, Director of Corporate Risk and Insurance, Telefonica and Adrian Phillips, Independent Consultant at Jones Day, which raised many topical questions and opened up the floor for some great discussions.
A number of technical sessions also took place and there were lots of networking opportunities, which meant that the PCI Pal team were able to interact with delegates throughout the day, and with over 400 senior practitioners in attendance, there were plenty to get round! It was a fantastic opportunity to meet some great new people and reconnect with existing peers too.
James Barham, Commercial Director for PCI Pal, commented: “The winter PCI London event was an excellent learning and networking experience. A very well organised and supported conference, PCI Pal always look forward to attending PCI Portal events to meet new industry experts and keep ahead of the curve. A superb day as always!”
As an invitation-only event, PCI London ensures that time at the event is well spent with speakers, sessions and contacts all being industry relevant and of great value to sponsors. We will also be attending PCI London on June 28th so why not connect with us there? Or start a conversation with one of our sales team now [email protected].
