PCI Pal’s secure payment solutions are all architected in the cloud. This means no legacy issues such as DTMF bleed found in other products available in the market today. PCI Pal uses Amazon Web Services (AWS) as its platform of choice to host our global cloud payment solutions. AWS cloud infrastructure is the most secure, extensive, and reliable cloud platform. The platform is split down into a series of regions located within a specific country. PCI Pal currently use regions located in the United States, Canada, United Kingdom, Europe, and Australia. For fault tolerance and high availability, each region consists of multiple fully isolated independent data centres. By provisioning our services within an AWS region, replicating systems across two or more availability zones, a highly resilient service is available, the service continuing uninterrupted should a data centre fail.
PCI Pal has designed its cloud platform to take full advantage of Amazon’s high availability model, utilizing the latest load balancing and autoscaling technologies to ensure our platform automatically ramps up to meet high demand peaks and is highly fault tolerant.
The Amazon platform itself is highly secure, being used by many of the world’s top financial companies to safely transact their business. AWS regularly achieves third-party validation for thousands of global compliance requirements that are continually monitored to meet security and compliance standards for finance, retail, healthcare, government, and beyond. AWS supports more security standards and compliance certifications than any other cloud provider offering, including PCI DSS, HIPAA/HITECH, FedRAMP, GDPR, FIPS 140-2, and NIST 800-171, helping satisfy compliance requirements for virtually every regulatory agency around the globe.
