PCI Pal® announced as a finalist in the 2021 Cloud Excellence Awards
The award submission focusses on how PCI Pal has supported new and existing customers in being able to continue securely handling payment transactions amid the pandemic, when contact centre agents transitioned to working from home. PCI Pal launched a rapid deployment version of its services to enable organisations to continue handling customer payments in a secure and PCI-compliant way, within 48-hours, by delivering its service via its globally-available cloud environment.
The Computing Cloud Excellence Awards recognise the very best of the UK’s cloud industry, from the most innovative and compelling products and vendors, through to the top use cases from end-user firms.
Jane Goodayle, PCI Pal’s SVP Global Marketing said: “Many organisations were facing the prospect of being unable to take card payments when the work-from-home rules were enforced. It is the responsibility of any organisation that takes card payments – no matter what size – to safeguard that data. Our Agent Assist cloud-based payment card security solution has supported existing and new clients in enabling remote-workers to securely handle customer information, at pace, and we are proud to be shortlisted for the 2021 Computing Cloud Excellence Awards for the work we have done – and continue to do – in helping organisations maintain a compliant payment process.”
The Computing Cloud Excellence Awards will hold a gala awards receptions in London on 23 September 2021, where key players from across the cloud and technology sphere are expected to join together to celebrate the industry’s achievements.
